Secure by default
Every Doorlight video visit runs over an encrypted, HIPAA-compliant connection. Visit recordings are never made without your explicit written consent, and chat messages travel over the same encrypted channel as the video itself.
What we collect — and why
We store what your care requires: identity and contact details, intake answers, clinician notes, prescriptions, and payment information. Website analytics are aggregated and never linked to your medical record.
Who sees your information
Your treating clinicians and the small care-operations team that supports them. Insurers receive only what's needed to process a claim you authorized. We never sell health data, and marketing uses only de-identified, grouped statistics — never your story.
Your rights
- Request a copy of your records at any time, free of charge.
- Ask for corrections to anything inaccurate.
- Limit how we share information with family, other providers, or insurers.
- Receive a list of disclosures we've made.
